Beyond the Hype: Crafting an Intentional Life amidst Wellbeing Trends

In the world of wellbeing, we come across a myriad of trends - like the "That Girl" Trend, the "Hot Summer Girl", or the "50 Days Challenge". It's easy to get swept up in the excitement, hoping these trends will work like magic, making us look and feel better.

I don't want to dismiss these trends entirely, as they may work wonders for some people, providing a temporary boost of motivation and excitement. But let's be real, once the initial thrill wears off and these trends become routine, interest tends to wane.

So, are these trends merely passing fads? How can we make the most of them? More importantly, how do we use them to become a better versions of ourselves, aligning with our values and goals?

While trends may come and go, I believe the key is to focus on building a life that genuinely inspires us to get out of bed every morning. This involves creating habits that align not only with our values but also with our ultimate aspirations. If waking up at 5:30 AM doesn't resonate with you, then there's no need to force it. Ask yourself if it truly adds value to your life and contributes to your goals. If it does, embrace it wholeheartedly, and let your values and core objectives become the driving force behind adopting the identity of a morning person.

Let's approach these trends with a discerning eye. It's crucial to stay attuned to our inner selves, considering how each trend or ideal aligns with our unique journey. Following trends or fitting into molds that don't truly complement our goals can be a waste of time and energy.

We've all fallen victim to the allure of shiny objects, hoping they'll transform us magically. I, too, have found myself going through this cycle. The path I embarked on didn't lead to a positive outcome, leaving me questioning whether there was something inherently wrong with me. Witnessing others brimming with motivation to pursue what I did only intensified these feelings. However, this perspective can be detrimental, leading to self-destructive beliefs that I somehow failed to push myself adequately. Consequently, I end up feeling lost and lacking the drive to move forward; leaving the routine behind me.

But the true transformation comes from being mindful of what we consume, what actions we take, and how they propel us toward our objectives. All of these things should add up to build what you truly value.
